Managing purchases and client access
How to review digital product purchases, track content access, recover delivery links, and manage refunds.
Every digital product order appears in the Purchases dashboard. Use the purchase record to review the client and delivered content, check whether the content has been accessed, and recover the client’s private delivery link.
Find a purchase
- Go to Dashboard > Purchases.
- Select a purchase to open its details.
- You can also open a client in Dashboard > Clients and use the Purchases tab to view that client’s digital product purchases.
Review purchase details
- Client name, email, optional phone number, and any message submitted with the order.
- Product title, amount paid, currency, and payment status.
- The files and external links included in the purchase, including items later marked as removed.
- The number of content accesses and the date of the most recent access. The count increases whenever the client selects Download or Access.
Help a client access their purchase
- Open the purchase and select View as client to confirm what the delivery page currently shows.
- Select Copy client access link and send the copied link to the purchaser.
The delivery-page link grants access to the purchased content. Treat it like a private access credential and send it only to the purchaser.
Clients also receive the delivery link in their purchase-confirmation email. If they use the client portal, they can open purchased digital products from the Digital products section.
How content changes affect purchases
Renaming an item, replacing a file, changing a URL, or changing its type updates the delivery pages of existing purchases.
Deleting a Content Library item removes access to that item. The purchase remains available and the delivery page shows that the content was removed by the expert.
Deleting the digital product stops future sales but does not delete existing purchase records or revoke access to content that remains in the Content Library.
Refund a purchase
Refunds are not issued automatically from the Introwise purchase record. If you choose to refund a paid digital product, issue the refund from the Stripe or PayPal account that processed the payment.
Troubleshooting
The purchase says Not accessed yet
The client has not selected Download or Access on the delivery page. Copy the client access link and send it to them if needed.
A content item is marked Removed
The item was deleted from the Content Library. Add a replacement as a new Content Library item and contact the purchaser with the appropriate next steps. Deleted items cannot be reopened from the existing delivery page.
