Terms of service

Teacher Washington's booking page is managed by Introwise. You can read Introwise's Terms of Service here.

**Key Terms of Service ***

1. Services & Platforms-

  • I provide online English lessons (General, Business, Exam Prep, Conversational, Relocation) and services (life coach, accent training, business coach).
  • Lessons are booked through Introwise and delivered via Whereby (classroom), Google Meet, Zoom, or Microsoft Teams.

2. Booking & Confirmation-

  • All lessons must be booked through Introwise.
  • A lesson is confirmed when it appears in the Introwise calendar and payment is completed.
  • Please check your time zone carefully when booking.

3. Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling-

My Scheduling Policies (24-hour rule, cancellations, rescheduling, lateness, no-shows) apply to all bookings made via Introwise.

In general:

  • 24+ hours’ notice → free cancellation/reschedule.
  • Less than 24 hours’ notice → may be charged in full and not rescheduled for free.
    • This is a case-by-case scenario based on two things:
      • If you contact me within 10 hours from the lesson start time
      • and/or depending on what the reason is (I am flexible, but please keep in mind this is by business

Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in loss of a fixed weekly slot.

4. Fees & Payments-

  • Lesson prices are shown on Introwise.
  • Payment is made in advance through Introwise’s payment system (which may use third-party processors).
  • I may update my fees, but confirmed and paid lessons keep the original price.

5. Student Responsibilities-

  • Be respectful and professional in all communication and lessons.
  • Ensure a quiet space, stable internet, and working device for Whereby/Google Meet/Teams.
  • Do not record, redistribute, or resell lesson materials without permission.
  • For minors, a parent/guardian must approve lessons and payments and be reachable.

6. Teacher Responsibilities-

  • Provide lessons with professional preparation and clear communication.
  • Use Introwise for scheduling and official messaging.
  • Deliver lessons via Whereby/Google Meet/Teams in a safe and professional environment as far as technically possible.
  • Treat all students fairly and respectfully.

7. Technical Issues-

  • If technical problems occur on the student’s side (e.g., poor internet, device failure), the lesson may still count as delivered.
  • If issues are on my side or due to platform outages, I will make up the time or reschedule at no extra cost.

8. Materials & Intellectual Property-

  • All custom lesson materials I create remain my intellectual property.
  • Students may use materials for personal study only and may not copy, sell, or share them publicly without permission.

9. Lessons for Minors (Under 18)-

  • A parent/guardian must agree to lessons, payments, and use of Introwise/online platforms.
  • I may require a parent/guardian to be present briefly or be reachable during lessons.
  • I may stop lessons with a minor if I believe the arrangement is not safe or appropriate.

10. Refunds-

Generally, lessons are non-refundable, except where:

  • A payment error occurs, or
    • I am unable to provide a confirmed lesson, and rescheduling is not possible.
    • Refunds may also depend on Introwise’s own policies.

11. No Guaranteed Results-

  • I will support your learning, but I cannot guarantee specific outcomes (exam scores, job offers, promotions, etc.).

12. Changes to Terms-

  • These key points summarize my Terms of Service.
  • I may update the full Terms; by continuing to book and attend lessons via Introwise, you agree to the current version.
